Professional Biography

Brandon McGinnis is a senior undergraduate student in the Criminology Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Some would call him a “townie” as he graduated from Indiana Area Senior High School in 2014. Making a difference in the community is something Brandon has always intended to do. He is an active member in Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian Church along with the Indiana County community. Prior to starting college, he planned to be a nurse, but has since moved towards law enforcement because of the “negative light” is a received over the last few years. He has received a certificate for working undercover with the Pennsylvania State Police. He will also work as an Intern with the Indiana Borough Police Department in the fall of 2017. In addition to his certificate, he has also received awards for maintaining Dean’s List every semester while attending IUP. In his limited free time, Brandon enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and most importantly lifting. He thoroughly enjoys giving advice to friends and family on how to better their physical appearance.
