Volleyball still has time to turn it around!

This past week women’s volleyball didn’t go as planned for them.

On September 27th, IUP lost a tough battle against Shippensburg Raiders after playing 5 sets, the lost 3-2 at their home opener. IUP started off hot with our home court advantage and won the first set 25-10! But the Raiders quickly responded and won the next set 25-21. We then answered back and won 25-18! Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep the lead and lost the fourth set 25-14 and the last set 15-9. The girls still played very well as Brooke Little had a match high of 12 kills!

On September 28th, the girls faced another defeat. This time we lost 3-0 in the match. The first match we lost 25-12, the second set was a close 25-22 loss, and the third was 25-18.
