What is Liv watching?

“Friday Night Lights”- This show originally ran on NBC from 2006-2011.  The show is based off the book about a High school football coach (Kyle Chandler) who moves his family to the fictional town Dillon, Texas.  From there he coaches his team onto the state championship and unites the community of Dillon.  Many other twist and turns happen on and off the field that keep you on the edge of your seat! (One of my favorite shows, EVER!)

“13 Reasons Why”- (Spoiler Alert) If you haven’t heard of this show then you’re probably living under a rock! (just kidding, but seriously.) I had just finished watching Season 3, which is very controversial and personally my favorite season yet!  Season 1 surrounds high school teens, Clay Jensen and his deceased friend, Hannah Baker, who takes her own life after having to face building, no help from adults and a sexual assault.  Season 2 focuses on trying to expose rapist (Brice Walker) by using a series of photographs of his victims in order to gain justice once and for all.  Season 3, which was just released to Netflix on August 23, 2019 starts off by introducing a new character named Ani.  She spends the entire season trying to figure out who killed and how it happened to rapist, Brice Walker.  I had just heard that there is going to be a Season 4 and the plot is going to mainly focus on Clay battling through his anxiety and depression.

“Friends”- My all time FAVORITE show! This show ran from 1994-2004 surrounding 6 young adults that are living their lives in New York City.  “Friends” talks about real life problems in a comedic way along with some twist and turns along the way.  I have been hoping for a Friends reunion and pray everyday that it will happen!!

“All American”- This show runs on the CW which premiered October 10, 2018 is a true story centered around Spencer James, a South Crenshaw high school student who is recruited by Beverly Hills coach, Billy Baker to come join his football team.  Spencer’s mother, Grace and his best friend, Coop convince him that this is the best move for his future.  Spencer then moves in with Coach Baker which his children and the beverly community aren’t fond of at first, but Spencer quickly adjust to the community and becomes excepted.  Season 1 ends with a cliff hanger when Spencer’s father asks his mother if her youngest son either belongs to him or Coach Baker’s?  What do you guys think? Season 2 is set to premiere on October 7th, 2019.

“The Society”- I just started this show on Netflix and I’m loving it so far!  When a high school field trip goes wrong and the kids are sent home, they come to find out that everyone is gone from their town except for them.  They have no way out and no help is available.  I’m really enjoying it so far!  Season 2 is set to premier in 2020.
