The new IUP Sailing Club launched our JY15s this past Sunday. We had 10 students participating, taught by our club’s instructors and some other experienced sailors who came out to assist for the day. Follow us on this blog, find us on Facebook or email iupsailingclub@gmail.com for more information.
Wednesday – 8pm, Leo 105
Welcome meeting. We’ll introduce/review basic wind-awareness and boat handling.
Sunday – carpool from HUB circle – noon
Drive out to Yellow Creek to launch the club sailboats for the first time. We’ll have volunteer instructors to help get you learning on the water, even if you have no prior experience.
