Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IUP’s Communications Media department offered remote internships for its students in the Summer of 2020. I received one of these internships and worked with Dr. Jeremy Waltman. At first, the other interns and I were doing simple research for him while he figured out which project of his he would have each of us work on. He picked right up on my love for video games, and had me assist in the beta testing and promotion for his indie game, “Weatherworn”. Thanks to crowdfunding efforts, the game is set to be released in 2021.
