About Me

My name is Anthony Breznican, and I have always enjoyed planning, filming, and editing videos in order to tell stories visually.  Whether I was running around the house with my parents’ handheld camcorder, filming the morning announcements in high school, or producing a television show for IUP-TV, it’s clear at first glance that I have always put a lot of effort into honing my media production skills.  Currently, I am a senior Communications Production student at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Arguably, one of the best traits IUP has made me aware of is my self-motivation and drive to acquire new skills in my field. While my focus is in video production, I have taken a few courses in audio production and game design simply to become more well-rounded. Additionally, I’ve challenged myself with software and applications that are completely alien to me; prior to creating this portfolio, I had never touched WordPress. Over the course of a few weeks, I had been teaching myself the intricacies and difficulties that come with it while making progress on this very portfolio.

In addition to my experience with IUP-TV, I was also the president of the IUP Anime Club for three years. The job was never easy, but the invaluable skills it taught me have proven worthwhile. As president, I was expected to organize and manage limited resources and the three other officers running the club with me. As a club, we had successfully hosted multiple events in the club meeting room, and had organized annual convention trips to Pittsburgh. We had overcome many obstacles as a club, and I am proud to have had the responsibility of leading the charge, so to speak.

If you believe that I would make a good fit for your project or company, I would be more than happy to reach out and see how I can build a career with you.
