About Author

Nancy is an Instructional Design Specialist for the whole of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She designs, implements, and coordinates technical workshops for the enhancement of pedagogy in the face-to-face, blended and online courses, pedagogical use of educational technology, learning management systems, blogs, and other educational topics for academic faculty and staff. Interests include learning on the go, use of mobile devices in education, and Professional Development. Nancy coordinates the Online Learning Orientation (OSO) for students. She facilitates the D2L Brightspace course for the OSO.

Nancy has a BA in Elementary Education from Westminster College, New Wilmington PA, a Master Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, and from the Online Learning Consortium Certificates in Online Teaching and the Online Learning Consortium in partnership with SUNY the Instructional Design Certificate. Nancy has also taught at Penn State University, New Kensington adjunct faculty.
