Kayla Enscoe
Kayla Enscoe is currently a full time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Communications Media Production. There, Kayla is learning how to write, report, produce, film, and edit in a variety of media formats. She is currently building her portfolio with a focus on music video and commercial production.
Experience and Rewards
The work experience Kayla has is mostly in retail. When she isn’t studying, she is working at Ross Dress For Less while also building her videography portfolio. Throughout her college career, Kayla struggled with finding her major. She was always interested in art, music, dance, psychology, and movies. After many changes of majors, she finally realized being involved in the entertainment industry fit her the best. As someone who has high energy, is charismatic, and extremely outgoing, Kayla realized working on set for a production would be perfect. Kayla has coached cheerleading teams, taught art classes for children, and was apart of the National Germans Honors Society in 2015.
Interests From Childhood To Today
Kayla’s family always remembers her as someone who was always dancing, singing, and putting on a performance. Her interest in pop culture and the entertainment industry influences who she is as an individual. Most of her interests stemmed from music and films. She looked up to musical artists like Britney Spears, Korn, Tool, and Eminem. All while being highly influenced by popular movies and shows like Austin Powers, The Butterfly Effect, SpongeBob SquarePants, and The Wedding Singer. This encouraged her as a young child to want to perform and make people laugh. Kayla was involved in ballet, cheerleading, gymnastics, and drum and guitar lessons. Since she was 12 years old, Kayla experimented in filming and editing short films and music videos. She never thought turning her childhood hobbies into a career was possible until the help and support of her family. The thought of working for a successful production company excites her. The idea of creating music videos for her favorite artists set it in stone.
