Document an Internship Offer from a Site

This is probably the most important step in your journey to becoming an intern! Use Indeed.com and other online resources, the support of IUP’s Career and Professional Development Center, and this site to find an internship opportunity. Once you find one, receive an interview, and receive word that you are being offered an internship, you must document that offer.

That documentation verifies you have an offer of an internship from a site and that the site is aware of and willing to comply with department and university requirements. The documentation requirements and related forms are all below. If you have any questions, contact your internship coordinator.

Internship with Professional Organization – This is any professional organization, approved by the internship coordinator. Once you find this opportunity, earn an interview, and receive an offer of an internship, download the form below and ask the internship site supervisor (your future boss) to complete it. You may then proceed to Step 4.
